Whats the opinion of Garret Riley now?

I think this is finally the offense we’ve expected when Riley came on staff. I think it’s a combination of Dabo giving Riley the keys to the offense. And Cade growing in the game look! Some expected Cade to be Lawrence/Watson the minute he set foot at Clemson. No that didn’t happen, but what did happen is he grew up his confidence skyrocketed. And his feel for the game has gotten better. The combination of that and Riley offense being ran has equaled out to the Clemson offense we expected.

Right now, I still don't believe he is worth what we are paying him BUT over the last two games, the offense seems to be trending in the right direction
We'll see if it lasts

Last season was a head scratcher for me on GR. But it was just his first season. Turning the ship early in his 2nd season. Good for me.

The plays we are running are not significantly different from the plays a lot of college teams are running. The OL, TEs and WRs are blocking better. Having a full and mostly healthy WR room means you perform or sit.

Related to him.
Nor were they related to Klubnik.
One of the major issues has been getting, developing, and PLAYING the best players at the skill positions. Not the Turner projects where Dabo sees himself in them.

I can agree with this. Having a couple more talented receivers has helped. Who cares who could be good. We have to play who is the best and most ready to go. This is college football. Not pop warner

Antonio Williams being healthy has been the single most important factor in the improvement of our WR corp thus far. Not to say that the stud FR WRs haven’t been helpful for the cause.

The improvement on offense was predictably simple.

Healthy and experienced offensive line with outstanding new coach. Healthy and experienced wide receivers. 2nd year starting QB. 2nd year of a new offensive system for players and assistant coaches.
It's not because of conspiracy theories that certain posters have used to create a false narrative to impugn the head coach.

I don’t see much of a change. I do see a lot of growth in the o line play and receivers since Westco and Moore have given us a legit deep threat. I see Dabo isn’t vetoing Riley’s calls as much this year. It happened some. I believe Dabo is trusting his coach and letting him do his job. Cade didn’t have time to allow routes to develop or even time to throw a quick slant before Matt Luke took over. The combo of Luke and Riley is looking great! If we could just get a well known and successful receiver coach! Development seems slow under Grisham.

My answer to your question rides on us playing against a really good defensive team, and right now that seems to be usuc!!!
