We had two 5-star recruits. DJ is clearly no great. Then you are saying Cade is not the answer.

Either the ranking system is wrong or our coaching is incompetent.

Agree. A work in progress but in time to save this season? I don’t think so. The Tigers can still win the ACC but are not competitive on the national scene. By our standards this will be a disappointing year. We need a QB.

If DJ comes back next year I fear Dabo will play him. Question: why isn’t Cade ready? After last year with DJ focus should’ve been on getting Cade ready.

No it’s not, typically freshmen are the more successful at QB these days. It’s a diff game and typically freshmen play elite.

Not every QB rated 5 stars out of HS is ready to step right in as a freshman or as a freshman period. DW and TL were anomalies.

I am sorry you missed the game. DJ completed 69% of his passes and probably got hit on half of those not counted the sacks. We could not handle Notre Dame's defense and it was all 11, not 1.

He may or may not be. I'm not sure how anyone can tell yet. But there are plenty of other issues, especially at WR.

I think we are not very good around these guys and Cade is a freaking true freshman. I don’t understand why everyone thinks he was going to but the next DW4 or TL16. Maybe he’s just a normal freshman that needs to go through it. Bryce Young sat behind a 5th year senior and looked like dodo when he came in that year. I fully believe that he was going to look like they dodo the next year give the kid time. I think he needs a full off-season to be the starter and practice with the starting team.

DJ needs to go just based on recruiting numbers. We have recruited in preparation for him to leave.
