The crowd Saturday really irked me.

Anytime GT would score, it got DEAD quiet. Absolutely dead quiet. Anytime something negative happened, it got dead quiet.
Yes, it did get loud during the GT drive where we got the safety, but it was pretty quiet up to that point aside from the first few drives of the first quarter.
We can't let that happen. We can't just cheer when something goes right, and then sit on our hands when something goes wrong. That defeats the whole purpose of home field advantage.
Look at LSU. Look at Oregon. Look at Alabama. It's almost never quiet during their games. I hate to praise Duke, but look at their basketball games, and tell me if you ever see them being quiet. It doesn't happen, and it's a large part of why they're successful.
I know this most likely won't change anything, but it just really annoys me. I know I'll be doing my part come Saturday, though.

They tend to get pretty quiet too when losing.
Actually, they just tend to leave the stadium.

We got quiet after a score and then got hyped up for a Sammy Watkins return and by the time the defense was back out there we were amped up again and loud. Fans down cheer when the opposing team scores. I mean I'm in the student section where people are screaming all game so maybe I didn't see what you did but I though the crowd was great, Dabo and the players said so themselves.

It's almost always like that....so quiet you can hear people talking on the other side of the field.

I agree that we fell off especially in the third quarter. Also a lot of folks leave at halftime and don't show back up until mid way of the third , that's a pet peeve of mine. I had a friend with me from Missouri and he asked why are y'all giving up it's not over. Unfortunately after so many "almost" seasons I think a lot of fans (especially students who don't remember the glory days) are still waiting for us to pull a Clemson.
That being said when we needed it most in the fourth we poured it on like we haven't seen recently. Overall, the stands were full, the students were loud and rowdy and most everyone stayed until the end. It's great to be a tiger!!

We had people behind us complaining about standing up. Really?? I should have complained about them sitting! So anyway we did what any orange blooded Tiger fans would do and stood up and cheered on the Tigers!!

We were VERY loud when we were on defense, every time.
We were quiet after most GT scores because there was a stupid five minute gap for the TV timeout.
When we had the ball we cheered big plays but were reasonably quiet before the snap.
Oh yeah, we were quiet at halftime but most people were gone and almost all were back for the 2nd half kick.
