I don't know about lazy but he certainly isn't a hard worker either. Also he had bad technique and was double or triple teamed but not every play and didn't play it well. If he isn't rushing then he stands up and gets blown off the ball. Also Florida ran right at him all game and almost won so can't tell me people always ran away. He is easily one of the more athletic guys in recent years but there have been other guys with great athleticism, good technique and harder workers.

I don't know what kind of work Clowney put in while a player but he obviously worked to get ready for the combine. One does not weigh 270 lbs and run a 4.5 without training. When you are that big you don't just get off the couch and run that fast. Clowney obviously has it in him to put in the work, we'll see if that is sustainable over his NFL career.

1) No he wasn't. In the Clemson game, Brandon Thomas largely handled him 1 on 1.
2) Every team's best defensive player gets added attention in the form of double and triple teams.
I'm tired of hearing this crap from people who clearly don't understand shit about football.

I don't know that I'd call him lazy but he definitely took a blow when the ball was going away from him. It will be interesting to see how he fares in the NFL. I don't believe he'll be as dominant as he was in college but I'd be surprised if he was a complete bust.

I would wait until a Big TV game, I would go in one Play and knock somebodies teeth out. I knew it would make all the high lights shows. Scouts would see. Then I would go to the bench and tell the Spur that my Riblets hurt. The Spur would have tears in his eyes and say--But Clown you promised to play the entire game this time! Please! Pretty please! For me? Then I would say bend over Coach. You know you love my 12ver. He would usually say this is why I am going to miss you Clown!
Yep we had a good thing going and it made me $22 million dallas

As OP said in his way, that you can be lazy and still get paid in the NFL. Once he gets there it's a different story. He is extremely gifted but we'll see what happens with his effort since there is more transparency in the NFL.
