Thanks Horry. Was just fixing to post as I was watching the awards given out.

Yep, there wasn't any scoring unless you had a golf id. But they did show the final 9 holes on espn+. Probably could watch on demand but the coverage wasn't good.

There's context to the tournament that needs to be taken into consideration. Isabella Rawl finished in 2nd place and we had 4 of our team finished in top 10. The 18 stroke margin should be celebrated. But this was the equivalent of a g5/d2 tournament. Doesn't mean it's not a wonderful achievement.

It should be celebrated on how this came about. With the hurricane flooding in sc/nc, Ashville area, coach Hester and team went up and helped the recovery. She asked what else they could do, and long story short, the tournament organizers asked if Clemson would come this year to be part of the participants and get espn to provide + coverage etc to bring attention to the recovery efforts. Hester generously accepted. Quite the story. Too bad the tournament was cut to 36 holes because of, what else, RAIN.

Congratulations team Clemson!!!

I kept up with the 2 day tournament thru the Golf Genius app.,so it worked out great since I don't get ESPN+.I tell you one thing there have been so many sites here in the last 5 years that have covered men's and women's Collegiate Golf and tournament scoring.Used to be all there was,was GolfStat.com just about.Great to see both Tiger teams playing good here early on to start the season, even though the men here recently had a rough outing in Georgia at the Golf Club of Georgia Collegiate. They both have had a good many Top 5 finishes and combined both have 3 tournaments. That's a whole lot better than last season when the Fall poor showing led over to the spring and thus both teams missed out on the NCAA tournament for the first time in a long long time, especially the men's streak of 41 NCAA tournaments in a row coming to an end.

Oh, on another note. We played a fairly weak schedule this fall. That should pay huge dividends for the spring conference schedule. We're extremely young and she was able to get a lot of experience for them without killing their confidence.

Feel really bad for Juliette Demeaux. After round one finally finished, she was leading with a stellar -5. She shot 10 over in the 2nd round but still finished top 10.
