could be a little testy for a period so we don't need to rest
starters too soon.I believe they still run the option and we haven't
played an option team in a awhile.Defensive line has to watch the
cut blocks.I do belive we will win by three or four scores and hope
for no injuries.Go Tigers.

Cut blocks are not illegal. Louisville used them regularly against us.

Does not exclusively run the Triple Option. The Citadel’s Offense changed significantly last year with the new Coaching Staff. They still run a few Triple Option Plays but is much more conventional now.

The Citadel is 3-5 in the Southern Conference and 4-6 overall currently. For The Citadel this is the best year they’ve had in a while. Will never understand why Clemson schedule games like these. I know the speech is to have in state schools gather a large cash for their programs and to let teams like Clemson get their backups more game experience. If you want the latter 2 things then let Division 1 schools have preseason games like these since College Football is now semi-pro.

Fwiw the SEC started this trend so Clemson is simply following in suit to use it to get healthy for rivalry week (right or wrong).

I agree though. I'd prefer these to be preseason or spring game alternatives.
