Couple of years! Where have you been the last decade? He won't hire a GM for the same reason he won't hire an account or a waterboy. He wants complete control. He's allready the HC.You just don't see him on the sideline.

When Jerry Jones is no longer in control of the team. He more than anyone has contributed to running that franchise into the ground. It's painful to watch...in fact I rarely do anymore.

HIs taj mahal and the play clock screws up at a critical time. spent almost a billion and can get a clock to work. seems karma for what he did to Landry may be coming home to roost

Jerry can't see the forest through the trees, he needs to relinquish all football related decisions to someone who has the knowledge to recognize talent at the coaching and player levels

The overdraft of the center in last years draft says it all

Drafting a 5th round graded center in the 1st because you are high on him is a head scratcher.

than your team does. Seriously, you're the definition of a hater, if you have to hate a on a team that has won only one playoff game in the past 17 years.

Jerry Jones never had anything to do with the Cowboys….

success. It was solely Jimmy Johnson and his assistant that made Dallas so great in the early to mid 90's. Jones getting rid of Johnson was the start of the ending of Dallas being a good team. Yeah they won the Super Bowl with Barry Switzer, but Switzer had assistants left over from Jimmy Johnson's staff. After the 96 season the Cowboys have been mired in mediocrity. And it won't change until Jerry Jones hires a real General Manager.
