I guess one cares more about avg star than the other. I do not understand this.

They had us around 15 coming into today. Not sure what the reason for the bump into the top 10 was other than just respect for how good we've been the past 5-6 years.

We've been higher on ESPN tHan rivals every year since ESPN started doing rankings, I believe. Usually significantly higher.

ESPN rankings - a few minutes ago USC was at #7

Now they have 19 recruits and dropped to #9. Clemson went up a spot from #9 to #8.
Trojans add 14 recruits and drop 2 spots. Must make those recruits feel good

I like however espn does recruiting. It has always been the one to follow IMO.

And a reason to not take them seriously whatsoever is that Scout has NEVER had us in the top 10 as long as they've been doing rankings. We're not even top 25 according to them.

At the top of their rankings they have:
Georgia - 7 top 100, 2 five star, 21 four star
Bama - 12 top 100, 5 five star, 17 four star
I would say Bama's is better than UGA's, but what do we know.
Scout also has 0 five stars listed for us, makes no sense.

Scout also had DW4 ranked #84 and the 3rd best QB coming out of HS

Rivals base it off quantity first then quality, once you hit that 20 commit mark then they'll give you credit for all the top recruits you get. Seems to be their logic anyways

They had to adjust their narrative of avg. Top 5 recruiting ranks = National Championships to avg top 10 if you didn't notice. We were like a avg of 9 while everyone else were 5 or better. You could clearly tell we threw off the dialogue for the day
