Dropped INTs

We dropped 4 INTs and these drives resulted in points for carolina. We MUST make these plays...

and a couple were ridiculously easy too. very disappointing. very much what you'd expect from our secondary

i posted this a few hours ago on another post and i couldn't agree with you more:

defenses that are fundamentally sound and have ball hawking ability don't arm tackle, they MAKE THE PICK when it hits them in the hands, and play defense with an offensive mentality that says the football and the ball carrier is MINE....our DB's have minimal ball skills and field awareness and are not instinctive....our DL and LB's are on the rise and there is some depth there....our DB's have got to drastically improve.....it's becoming an epidemic problem back there...the interference calls were a joke but the picks that were dropped cannot happen....you have GOT to make those plays. If you make those types of plays our offense could shred any defense because the pedal would stay to the metal all night long and momentum would never shift.

we make those picks, momentum swings, DV erupts, the offense is energized, and it demoralized the team that gives them up.....anyone who has ever played, coached or watched football for a long length of time knows that even the best teams in the nation can be beaten if the opposition MAKES PLAYS on defense when they are available.....we create virtually no TO's on defense and it's a huge issue, especially against quality teams and we don't HIT back there in the secondary, period.

Yep 2 of them my daughter could have caught,there is no excuse for not making those plays.Our D makes Avg QBs look like they are All Conf.
