TD Bank stupid chit

1) Every month I get a money order for a rental house I sold. If I deposit it, they put a 24 hour hold on it, as thought it was a check. Why? There's nothing to "clear"... it's like cash. So I'm a buttwhole. "Yes ma'am, I'd like to cash this". No problem. The window slides open, and then I drop a deposit slip in on top of the envelope with money in it... "OK, now I'd like to deposit that". So I make them do a double transaction. Just general principle. By God.

2) I have a PO Box and no mailbox. I order checks and never receive them. Come to find out, after a big hassle... they were returned, they won't ship checks to a PO Box, only a physical address. I ask why - "For security purposes". OK, help me understand this... you'll put a box of checks in a mailbox, where anydamnbody can just drive/walk by & grab em. But you won't send them to my PO Box, which is accessed only by my key, in a Post Office lobby with 24x7 surveillance. Please explain how that is more "secure". JFC. Yeah, I showed my azzz and hurt some people's feelings that day...

and I am bored so I will share this story.

Last week or so, I paid off a HUGE credit card bill. I paid for my trip for my son and I to Hilton Head, I had put our Amelia Island trip on there and I also had an electrician come out and redo the wiring in the unfinished part of my basement and add a switch and slew of other things like can lights in the kids’ play room that had no overhead lighting. It was a huge bill. Cringeworthy.

So I paid it off and today my credit score updated. I lost 12 points. Like how the ever living eff does that happen? I was so mad. I think I am going to call my dude at Ameriprise and see if he can figure it out. It’s ridiculous that I am free and clear of all debt except car and mortgage and now I am back in high 700’s. It’s bothersome.
