If there is any one thing to be gleaned from the BB tourney it is that you absolutely have to have an aggressive, attacking offense. We do not have that with Brownell.
And if there is anything to be learned from the last 2 years of Clemson football it is that we did not have an aggressive, attacking offense.
Dabo did something about it. Will Neff?

it seems odd that OP had aggressive play on both offense and defense yet was not able to win a single game in the dance even against lower seeded teams. Also note teams like SDSU are a slower pace offense with great defense team in the final four.
It would seem your narrative is overly simplistic. Strong coaching is needed but the key is good players.

Brownell has nowhwere near the success of Streeter.

Streeter QB-coached two guys to National Championships and NFL glory. In his ONE year as OC he improved our numbers and QB play across the board from his predecessor, and that was with a head case at QB. Brad followed a 3-straight NCAA'er, took it down a notch in season one, then languished us from there.

You need to be patient, he's only had 13 years. 13 years of mediocrity are what's needed to be an "excellent" coach when excellent AD Neff proclaims he's demanding excellence from the sports programs. Another 7 or 8 seasons, and we'll probable start being in NCAA tourney every year. You know this koolaid is great, but I wish they'd mix some red next time.

If you really think that, it shows more about the incompetence of your thinking than the occupational inadequacies of those two men.
Streeter has been far more successful than Brownell, though both have earned a sterling reputation both among their peers and off the job.
You drumbeating Brownell bashers are really starting to convince me that a Clemson education is overrated. I thought that was hard to do, but you keep trying, don't you?
