I’m convinced.

Anybody that’s watched the past two Clemson football games is 100% convinced that Chris Vizzina will never be our starting quarterback. He is horrible.

That deer in the headlight look and reaction every time he had the ball has me convinced that he is not even an FCS QB. Great young man and feel bad for the kid but playing QB at this level is not for everyone.
I think Furman game they should give Pearman and Denson both a full quarter with an open playbook and see what they got

At some point, many thought DJU was going to be the answer.

Vizzina has a much better chance at being great than DJ U by comparison at the beginning of his career.

We all started out not being able to walk but many of us figured it out and ran!

I think he will improve to a pretty doggone good QB.

Sample size is far too small. Because of our team’s one+ year maddening inability to build up a big lead (using our starters) against our (numerous weak) opponents, there have few opportunities for enough snaps for Vizz to even break a sweat.

He’s had only two games this year in which he’s gotten snaps. Surprise surprise, he doesn’t look prepared to face live bullets.

I’m not suggesting that he’s a stealth Joe Burrow, but he might have top end potential along the lines of Pitt’s Eli Holstein or VT’s Kyron Drones. Not NFL potential buried somewhere within, but yes to competent backup potential.

As for the TP, I agree that this is THE year in which a one season starter quality transfer QB is a must.
