The non-Lady Ballers of Tigertown play today in Canada, and there’s clearly something weird going on. Maybe I should have called this the X-files edition.
But seriously? We’re scheduled to line up against a Fort Worth, Texas team today, but somehow in the wilds of Toronto, Canada? And even more disturbing, there’s not yet been a posting from Tim Bourret as to how many times Brad Brownell has never gotten a technical foul called in Canada before? Either the world’s polarity is about to flip, or someone needs to do a wellness check on our friendly neighborhood Rain Man.
It’s bad enough that we’re venturing into the enclave of that Modern Man of Marx, Justin “Bieber-wannabe” Trudeau with little to back us up. I mean we had Trump there at our side in Columbia; so, I’m thinking we’re going to need Kelsey Grammar to show this afternoon in Ontario. But can anyone doubt that that we’ll soon hear that 42 members, family, and friends from Clemson’s 4-H / Tractor Pull Team have been detained by the Institute of Detain-deTrump-Deport at the Canadian border? I would be afraid for them, but I also trust that our own and intrepid Dudley Doo-doo-right, Judge Keller, will no doubt join us with on-site reporting very soon, just as he did with cracker-jack insights from Lower Alamobama.
Still.... casting a pall over all of this mayhem is how sadly clear it is that our poor Tigers have been fiendishly out maneuvered, given that TCU has obviously discovered the Brownell Achilles Heel. Ignorance unfortunately is not always bliss, and nary a word has been authored by the Brownell Bros. about the obvious trap that is about to be sprung by the Horned Toads.
No, it’s not that TCU is a member of the best Basketball conference in the land, the Big XII, which owns 5 of the Top 10 teams in America all by themselves. And no, it’s not that the Toadies are currently ranked #25 by Massey and friends on their composite, after finishing last year at NET 58 with their 2nd straight NCAA appearance. It’s also not that TCU has matched the Tigers step-for-step in being Unbeaten at this point in the season - and in somehow besting that powerhouse Alcorn State.
No, it’s their schedule; a Machiavellian masterpiece if there was ever one constructed. Indeed, TCU saunters into Toronto this afternoon, fresh off the backs of not 1, not 2, not 3, not 4, but yes! 5 actual Wins over #300+ ranked schools! Clearly, they have prepared for Clemson by scheduling all the teams that we could not beat, and their mastery of the mediocre will set them apart from the Brownell Bros. where not even ACC talent can trod. I mean, look at this Murderer’s Row of victims TCU has already dispatched this year: Houston Christian, Northeast Omaha, Southern University, Mississippi Valley State, and my all-time favorite, UTRGV. Surely, there’s a Loyola Manitoba in there somewhere....
So, enjoy your virginity of unbeaten-ness as long as you can Tiger fans. That cherry is about to be popped, a past-time that Justin no doubt much enjoys.

He's already written his post for the first loss and how he will blame Brad for it. However, his frustration is building with each game as it takes longer and longer for that first loss to come, and he was planning for it a lot sooner.
