develop a Terrance Cody type. That is one of Bama's unspoken advantages, they can get enough athletic LB's and Jumbo DL to run an effective 3-4. Most Center's are not large or strong enough to move a body that big.

He actually moves pretty well for someone that size. My question is what are our S&C folks doing or not doing with him that he remains that large?
Just seems like he is not exactly developing from a physique standpoint

Certainly some question marks there. Makes you believe that the ball is now in Spencer's court on what he wants to decide. I personally have never suffered a food addiction or a weight problem, but I'm sure it would be a tough thing to overcome.

You can lift until your arms and legs fall off, but unless your diet is right, you're going to see severely diminished returns.
Needs to get his head on and he'll be fine.

You have to be a physical specimen to maintain that kind of weight and still be in a football shape.
Unfortunately, I don't see Region playing a whole lot unless he can get down at least 20 pounds.

Ive seen Spencer and he is looking good..but I dont know what weight they want him at. I watched him in a few games he played and he is like a bulldozer. Just hope he works out whatever the problem is.

I agree with Tigerman. I've seen him up close and he looks like he's dropped a good bit of weight. A couple of defensive players told me that he moves really well for a big guy, and feel that he'll see the field when his time comes.
Clemson is building some much needed quality depth on the OL.

OL is a place that takes time with some players..I think he will come around this year. He is a beast and we need him.

I'm not sure about Spencer Region's development at OL, however there is no way a move to DT is going to happen. It's easily our deepest position in terms of numbers and experience. And if we land Big Mount on NSD, it just gets deeper.
Grady/Reader/Adams Watson/Williams/Watkins
To epitomize the talent at DT, we are going to probably redshirt Pagano this year!?! A big time, 4-star DT that will come in and redshirt. Lol... no opportunity for Region at DT.
