How many so-called big time cfb programs

will be looking for new coaches this post season? Good luck finding enough good candidates to fill these. I mean how many really good coaches are out there? How many retreads?

Stability will be a thing of the past. Alumni and supporters will probably fall by the side if coaches get replaced at their program every 2 to 3 years. How can their giving even hope to support this? Only the really elite will be able to attend this "comman man's" game. Most, many long time supporters, will be closed out. Mega programs will be all that's left and they will be few. Is this the wonderful new world of cfb?

College football is undergoing a relatively rapid and extreme set of changes. Changes that bring a lot of uncertainty and chaos. Give it a few years and the sport will settle into the semi pro super league model everyone knows is coming, and then will come more relative order and stability similar to what you’d see in the NFL

succeed. Others will complain about how bad everything is and get left behind.

I think most will be left behind.

And I agree, most will be left behind. I probably won't be around to see it, but it's sad and will never be the same. I could never see myself being a rabid fan of a pro anything team.

I understand what other poster is saying, but when it comes to that, the college feel will cease to exist.

Wealthy programs will thrive.

Everyone else can hope their cast of portal fill ins hits once every five years and they make an appearance in the expanded playoff as fodder for the real teams.

The sport as it was is dead and the zombie the remains shuffles along sucking money out of whatever is left.
