you can badmouth our team, our coaching staff, etc. If you want to be critical, you have that right. However, there are two things that go over the line.
1. When a criticism becomes a personal attack. You can voice your concerns and critiques without attacking the intelligence, drive, and character of the players and coaches that have given Clemson so much. Maybe if you are unable to not cross that line, you should take an online critical writing course. I think Francis Marion® is offering one. Go to https://www.wacthyomouthboy.com.
2. When you indicate that you will pull against Clemson in an upcoming game. No true Clemson fan pulls against Clemson ever. If this describes you, you should be ashamed.

T-Net used to be such a wonderful site back in the early to mid 2000's. Not many had smart phones but I used to love the discussion after the game. It was usually one thread. By and large it was x and o's disecticting the games with actual knowledge. Now it's evolved as has society. It's one way or the other. No middle ground. Sad.

divisive and that is not me. But if a "pumper" attacks the cracatre of a player or coach who represents Clemson, then yes, it applies to them.

I have been critical of them because they deserve it. We have played 2 games and in both games, they only played one good half. The other half was embarrassing. However, I will never, ever hope they lose. I just hope we get a new OC and get movement installed in our offense. I think that will give our team a great boost.

I think no matter where you land, this has been a disappointing start vs. expectations. I bought the hype that this was going to be the “return to glory” team and now I kind of feel my expectations have to be tempered a bit.

We didn’t cover the spread vs Troy we have better athletes than Troy yet they whipped our butts the entire first half. Play 1 half against GT or FSU see what happens.

I am wondering how much of that money comes from the complainers? I have given my share over the years as has my family since the fifties!
But! I know BIG donors who give life changing levels of $$ to the program and guess what?? They were happy with the win yesterday.
Why? Because they are grown-ups and they know that there are TWO TEAMS on the field and it's a big deal to beat Clemson.
I imagine the most vocal and hate filled "All that money" crowd has likely never even been on campus.

Two things:
1) Lot of the irrational fans are probably fans that were 10-15yrs old when Dabo took over and are 20-30yrs old now and only remember winning. They don't remember not winning ACCCGs, losing to FSU 8yrs straight, getting whipped by GT, etc, etc. They don't understand that winning is hard and majority of teams could only wish for our record even of the last 5yrs, just ask Coots.
2) Some people are either miserable and find joy in others pain or they get joy by seeing people reacting to controversy by pushing their buttons and fans are easy targets when their sport is struggling. Mostly pretty childish behavior because they are sitting behind a keyboard.

I don’t think anyone here enjoys a poor start. Most of us bleed orange and it flat out hurts to see the team struggle. But being upset and pointing out real problems isn’t the same as “badmouthing.”
Criticism doesn’t mean disloyalty. If anything, the fact that people are this frustrated shows how much they care. Clemson has set a high standard over the last decade, and when you go 3–11 on third downs and only possess the ball 22 minutes in a game, fans are going to call that out. That’s not a personal attack on character, it’s called reality.
On your second point, I agree: no true fan pulls against Clemson. But calling out coaches for scheme issues or players for poor execution isn’t “pulling against.” It’s holding the program accountable to the level of play Clemson itself built.
We can support the team and still demand better. That’s what passionate fanbases do. I thought the 'best is yet to come" and "best is standard". Is it?
