Our defense this year is a mess and a bigger issue than a not so good offense

It's embarrassing, it's shows no forward thinking or subjective/objective thought, and lacks a TON of originality.
This stinks of the 2000's posters hollering to hire Danny Ford.
It's just a bad look.

No thank you. Bringing Goodwin back is a terrible idea. I dont think he's a good position coach at all. As for Morris, maybe but he hasn't called plays for 3 years, not to mention I'm not really sure he'd take it.

I’d take Chad Morris in a heartbeat if he gets to bring who he wants to assist

Total failure at Arkansas just like Jeff Scott was at USF. People will always stay stuck in the past with what was. Just human nature.

How many times has it been said that Dabo is a CEO not a O genius. Just like in business, the CEO is kinda of a joke and people wonder why the Board pays them so much.

Hard Pass On CM...

His time has passed. His HUNH was great for the time but we actually got better offensively after he left for SMU when Elliot and Scott were CO-OC's. Recruiting is also a big component and I'm not sure he could bring the big names anymore. He did ok at SMU but was a abysmal failure at Arkansas.
Recycling coaches isn't the solution.

Cole Stoudt Played His Best Game Against Oklahoma After Chad Left

Everyone was down on Stoudt and IMO, Chad tried to make him do more than he was capable of in his offense. Elliot and Scott simplified the playbook and made calls that played to his abilities and he had the game of his life.

How about we follow a responsible, sensible review of best of breed coaches/coordinators and make the best decisions for Clemson rather than reinvigorating ghosts of the past.

Why hasn’t it worked out so well?

He did a fantastic job developing our quarterbacks, but his schemes became predictable and he struggled against elite defensive lines. Riley's offense does not require an elite Oline, but they need to be athletic.

Does the fact that NO ONE ELSE IS INTERESTED IN THE CHAD or the CHOP not kind of send up a red flag to you?? Morris ran a gimmick offense that worked briefly then didn’t so much. He has accomplished NOTHING since he left Clemson. And GOODWIN?!?!? Ffs he is why our defense is in the mess it’s in now. I’d take Tommy West over the two of them combined.
