So what exactly is a Dabo waiting for?

Is there some coach that he has in mind that still has games left to play? Is he trying to be a gentleman and weight it doesn’t seem like he’s poaching coaches? If he’s simply going to promote for more than why wouldn’t he announce that already? I’m not that concerned about the choice he makes I’m just curious about the deafening silence regarding the situation.

Everyone wants to know now but the fact nothing has been announced yet isn’t concerning to me. We didn’t know Bin Laden was dead until after the mission; I guarantee Dabo isn’t just sitting and waiting. There is very good reason as to why the public isn’t informed until after the task is complete.

He is waiting due to a couple of things…

1) He wants the recruits to hear his plan directly from him and not in the press who will automatically have a bunch of swirl and naysayers attacking it.

2) He has been busy on the recruiting trail with a trip to Vegas to see CJ Spillers HOF induction thrown in there.

I expect we probably hear the plan on Monday. At least on the DC side of the equation. Recruits have reported that Dabo told them Conn and another assistant will be Co-DCs. On the OC side, rumor is it will be Streeter, but not as strong of evidence that is a done deal as of yet. I expect

If Streeter gets the nod, I expect he will significantly improve the play calling and in-game adjustments. And he will hire a better QB coach to replace him. And he can recruit! It will be a win, win, win!

Nothing better than a former QB running the play calling! LETS GO!

I am more concerned about the DC then the OC right now. We just lost the best DC and the recruits don't want to come and play for a newbie DC. That is why we lost some recruits. I am sure there is talk behind the scenes, but we need to make a big respectful hire. I know Dabo will do what's best. Hopefully it is soon.

on. In the last few days, we've lost an AD, a DC, and an OC. Players jumping into the portal, recruits decommitting. Plus, Dabo has been on the recruiting trail the whole time, addressing the loss of coordinators to recruits. In between all of that he still has to find time to wipe his ### and feed the dog. I'm sure he'll get around to it in the next few days.
