This rings true because I have a life-long friend who decided he wanted to go to college even though he has retired now. This guy truly is not the brightest bulb in the box and has real trouble now at age 64 grasping new and even some dated technology. I did not believe he could even get past the entrance exam.
Long story short, he has one semester left after this one to receive his Bachelor of Science degree from coot-u.

Two questions though:
1. What was Drake Maye's SAT score? Carolina is a pretty tough school to get into would he have gotten in strictly on his academic record.
So has woke just come to mean PC for you guys? It had a pretty specific meaning to start with now on Tnet it just encompasses everything the people consider snowflakish.

I got accepted into the electrical engineering program at SCAR w/o applying and, frankly, w/o knowing that such a thing existed at SCAR.
You can get into SCAR w/o applying and not everyone that applies gets into Clemson.
There, I've said and I will never apologize for it.

i can say this about CoC and Scar..
we got something in the mail and email almost every single week from both schools for almost a year recruiting them. All i remember getting from Clemson was a post card that had the application deadlines.

Thank you for mentioning that. I got a letter from SCar my sophomore year at Clemson telling me I should start thinking about my major. I never even considered applying there so it is interesting to know they stalked other Clemson people as well. Looking back, I wonder what kind of GPA I had at a school where I wasn't registered.

I suspect there is a different standard for players and fans. Fans make jokes all the time about rival schools. I think players need to be more careful because their comments can become bulletin board material. That's my take on this. I suspect a coach asked him to apologize. That makes sense to me.
PS: I love the joke about having diplomas thrown in your car window while driving through the UofSC campus. Funny joke. But our players shouldn't be telling that joke to the media.

I recall in our last trip (I think) to Chapel Hill, UNC ended up apologizing for putting pictures of Clemson fans in attendance on the video board and adding text making fun of them.
