not really... skill set wise, Cooper would more resemble watson while Bryant is closer to jackson. don't give up on Bryant yet folks, late bloomers happen all the time in this program

from reading about him during Fall camp...he is the best at the deep throw and is better at decisions than Bryant. but Bryant will probably start bc he will be a Junior.

only a matter of time before Cooper or maybe even Johnson takes over.
I like Bryant, but I just think unless he develops as a passer then he will be a little limited in what we do.

it will be interesting to see how it all turns out. Kelly came from an option offense before transferring to wren. only 2 years in hs as a passer. if he can develop a little bit more as a passer (mainly not staring down recievers and getting baited by safeties), he can really be a dynamic player. if he doesn't work out, at least we have quality options! who knows, whoever it is may end up being a stop-gap until Lawrence gets here...

it might be a little different if the first game were at Georgia, but a home game vs. Kent State should be an audition for him. He's an early enrollee too and that's a big deal.

I was the biggest Bryant advocate, but I think next year looks a lot like 2014 but with 3 different QBs to start the year. Bryant will get the nod to open the season with Cooper splitting time. If either Brice or Johnson is a freak freshman like Watson was, they will play as well. I think the sky is the limit with our QB situation next year. Bryant will definitely lead the pack into Spring. Who knows by Late August.
