are sitting at home wondering "WHAT HAPPENED, THEY HIT US THE BOMB!"
Are we really getting to the point now where the regular season results mean absolutely nothing? I mean, these were not close upsets, they were DOMINATIONS. For close wins, you have to look at the Detroit Lions, who won a playoff game for the first time in 32 years. Congrats to them.
And, that really is the only close playoff game so far. Cleveland, Miami, and Pittseburgh, in addition to Dallas and Philly, all got bounced out of the tournament pretty convincingly. About the only sure thing you can say about the playoffs now is, It's good to be King. Meaning, the only sure way not to lose on Super Wild Card Weekend is to sit home with that #1 seed like Baltimore and San Francisco did.
Next week may be interesting, with so many Rindercellas still hanging around. Which ones will slop their drippers, and which ones will keep on keeping on?

I do not what happened to Philly… seems strange like maybe some thing internal. I mean they just fell right off a cliff, and not just a downward slide.
Kelce is retiring that will hurt. Hard to replace that experience at the center position.

Philly struggled all year. They got off to a 10-1 start thanks to having a golden horse shoe up their rear end. They quit having all the lucky breaks and generous calls down the stretch and they collapsed.

Wow, that is just really dumb. Think about "the regular season results mean absolutely nothing" and explain how you could have there could be Playoffs without regular season. As my grandson would say, seriously.

The entirety of the regular season does have meaning.

Those that watched Philly limp home the last 5 weeks should have had a hint this might happen.
Cleveland: there a lot of people beating the Browns drum, but it was a matter of time before a team made Flaco look like, well a 39 year old QB who started the season on the practice squad.
Pittsburgh: regular season in December, lost to Cardinals, Patriots, and Colts, none of which were playoff level teams.
Dolphins in Arrowhead with temperatures at 15 below. Do we need any more explanation?
Cowboys:one word, "playoffs". Do we need any more detail here?

Jerry Jones tried to break the curse by inducting Jimmy Johnson....

....into the Dallas Cowboys "Ring of Honor." When the Cowboys beat the Steelers in the 1996 Super Bowl for their last win (and appearance) with a fake coach (Barry Switzer) Jones thought he proved that all that was needed to win was his (Jones') business and personnel genius .... No doubt Jones has built a money-making empire out of the Cowboys' franchise, but he's only had four playoff wins since 1997, and his meddling style and coddling of players has hand-cuffed every coach he's brought in since he fired Jimmy Johnson.... His Son Stephen continues the pattern....

Last time I checked, both #1s play next weekend.
Of the 6 games so far, only the Cowboys loss was a big surprise while the other games were not (maybe the margin of victory was). A lot of people knew the Eagles were a complete train wreck and would probably lose.
Seems likely at this point the two top seeds will meet in the SB, but you have to play the games.
