After 15 years of loyalty and devotion, Ricky will be leaving us tomorrow. It's tough.
**Ricky left us at 9:30 AM this morning. Thank you all for your thoughts, prayers, and just for caring. I appreciate it all more than I can say.**

I had a 15 year cocker spaniel that I had to put down on Halloween day in 2015. Worst thing about it, was having to make that phone call. It was weeks of agonizing over not wanting to make that call. But in the end you gotta do what’s best for your buddy when you know they are suffering. Prayers

Hate to hear that. I understand totally as we are now on our 4 th miniature schnauzer. 1st one lived 16 years, second 13, and the tried one we had to put down in March after 14 years. The one we have now is 13 so we tend to just do whatever she tells us to do and enjoy her.

My eyes are filling up. I’m sorry! The one time we had to do that - I pulled Lady up on mybed and held her all night. Seems silly to some, but God speaks in Proverbs about how wise men care for their animals. Asked Him to lessen your sorrow in days to come.

Praying for you & your family. So sorry it’s goodbye for now but I believe God will have our pets in Heaven if we make Jesus Lord of our life, the Bible mentions horses many times and talks about preaching the gospel to all the creatures on earth. Our God is absolutely Good.

I have often said that the only time I saw my Daddy cry was when his mother passed away and when we have lost our family dogs.
