Back in November, Dabo told the press that Lay was going to get a Master's somewhere else and play.

It must be a tougher position that we think. Like you I thought he would be a much bigger factor than he was

Not a surprise, next man up... Block, Run good routes, catch the ball and no self inflicted wounds (holding, wrong positions, offside, etc.)...

By the way they were talking him up; I thought we had the next Dwayne Allen or Jordan Legget. Guess not. I really like the way Davis Allen plays though. Good hand and he doesn't mind getting physical. He needs more opportunities honestly.

Seems like that was a key component we under-utilized: over the middle to a big body matched on a LB or a Shipley in the slot on a LB. Shipley may be our best slot WR, ya'll dang(as i typed that).

D Allen is awesome but he will need to bulk up just a little if he wants NFL opportunity.
