At $773,000 plus any bonus money staying another year might move him up and he could still pull down a decent NIL deal. What does TNET and Tigerbalm1 Chatbot think?

No chance. He doesn’t get drafted that high unless he’s conveyed an interest in actually signing. Coming back to school doesn’t gain him any money.

I honestly think he’s gone based off the interview I saw from him earlier this week.

I highly doubt it. First, I don't think we could get that for a baseball player. We can barely get it for a pj hall or pwoo in bball/fb.

Second, as he stated in the article, this has always been his dream and goal. We took a flier in case he dropped really low and it didn't. I'd do backflips if he stuck, but tbh, why risk an injury?

Eric has to find kids that will be honest and has a passion for Clemson. Dabo is the best at it. There's lots of kids we could throw offers at in fb... like the other schools, or go after kids you've vetted.

If a player gets drafted in the first 10 rounds it’s 99% chance they’re going. I forget the stat but only a small handful of guys who’ve been drafted top 10 rounds since 2012 (when MLB went to current bonus format) have chosen to go back to school. Teams aren’t gonna waste a high pick on someone they know can’t be signed

Neff and his CSC colleagues are attempting to to deploy valid business purpose guidelines for NIL Go. Assuming he’s instructed Clemson athletics to follow that guideline the bundled donor cash from the collective has ended. Clemson baseball has access to about $500k of rev share to fight for amongst the lesser and non-revenue olympic sports. Bakich has a full scholarship and a promise to promote commercial NIL opportunities that can pass NIL Go oversight. The players drafted thus far are not going to get the kind of up front cash MLB is offering.

Id be surprised if we have any baseball players
