So does a 12-1 Acc champion Clemson team

Make the playoffs? Got a lot of work to do on offense with no room for error. Just want thoughts where would a 12-1 Acc champions get Clemson this year?

Yes, and the better UGA looks the better for us. I really want to see how they do against others.

Can you post the record of every other team in contention including the scores of their games so we can make an accurate guess?

Because Bama, OU,OSU,UCLA and ND are all gonna finish undefeated. Just win,at this point that's all they can do and see what else transpires.

Except Bama and MAYBE OSU. That's why making missing the Playoff predictions based on 1 game is premature at this point. Just win and see how it plays out.

well 12-1 wont get us in if those teams go undefeated, or Georgia goes 12-1..with one loss in sec, this is all common sense that some wont like, all clemson can do is win out and pray that Oklahoma , notre dame, Georgia or Pac 12 teams all lose games they were not suppose to. .Georgia has got some games that could easily block their path if they lose one and then a second loss in sec, that will knock them out. but with this crazy covid crap, some teams could easily have key players missing from week to week that could wreck havoc on them winning , Lets hope Oregon pulls a upset on Ohio State this week, for starters..

Please stop. I think Clemson needs a break from that level of play until they can figure out the OL and reinvent themselves on offense through Elliot himself or a replacement for him. I don’t even know what they are doing on offense. It is stale and unimaginative. The antithesis of what got Clemson to elite status.

I agree with Tigerfreak we are far from elite in offense starting with an overated California quarterback (Who picked him?) an offensive coordinator who can’t find the endzone and lacks imaginatio and an offensive line that can’t stop the run… Dabo better rethink and start cleaning house and soon!

Really hard to say without knowing how the other conferences shake out.
I'd say a 12-1 Clemson probably makes the playoffs, but could be on the outside looking in if certain scenarios happen like 2 undefeated SEC teams meet in their Championship game then they both are automatically in theoretically. A 12-1 Ohio State probably goes in with an undefeated Oklahoma. That's probably the only scenario Clemson gets left out.

If Bama and Ga face off in the SEC Championship unbeaten the loser bumps clemson out of the playoffs. There is no one on the Tigers schedule to aid them moving forward. The Tigers miss arguably the best teams in the ACC conference not named Clemson....#10 North Carolina, #14 Miami, and unranked Vtech.

Let's see, we've made the playoffs 3 times already losing to lesser teams than the one we did last night (Pitt, Syracuse, and ND). So yeah, we're most likely in at 12-1.

For that to happen uga must dominate. We need the rest of the acc to be good too. So far the acc looks like hot poop.

Not necessarily. We lost to a 6-6 Syracuse team and we were still the #1 seed.

Right now I’m hoping we beat SC State. Long ways from 12-1 so no need to worry about it.

Yes. The out of confidence games are meaningless in the playoff era of college football.

The out of conference games are just a measuring stick.
FACT: Tge SEC-E champ or SEC-W champ will lose in December.
Clemson will be on a 12 game winning streak in December.

Yes, but this team has much work to do to go 12-1. The ACC is not as bad as advertised and we will have to play every game to the best of our ability, just to have a chance to win.

Who says we will win 12 games this year?

Everyone we face just has to bring in the line backers on blitzes. Corner blitzes etc. with a crappy offensive line and a QB that doesn’t run.
