Not sure why you think it's Dabo. I was listening to the car radio lSt night and the Dan Fitzpatrick show was on. Anyway the 2 guys were talking about it and said nardu,zu did admit it was teams in the playoffs. Then went on to say he wasn't going to name who because he was going to take the "oh high road " ... idk but that's what I heard.

To even insinuate Clemson is one of the teams shows the writer knows nothing about Dabo and the culture he has built at Clemson. Dabo does not hunt the portal, he prefers to build from within. It also shows his lack of knowledge of the Clemson team roster. Cade Klubnick might be a better QB than Maye and we have him for two more years. Cade might be better than Watson and Lawrence.

It's the Tarheel Blog, so of course he wants to accuse Clemson.
He's a petty little provincialist.
He also fails to understand that, as good as Maye is, DCs have figured out how to stop him.
Ga Tech did it the second half, NCSt did it to a degree, and we did it after the first drive: you keep the dude in the pocket. He ran successfully--2 scrambles and a draw--3x on their first drive, and other times meandered around the backfield working guys open. But once our DEs and blitzers stopped leaving escape gaps, his game became very normal.
NCSt and Clemson have the athletes to do that up front. But if GT can do it, with their athletes? I foresee a 7-5 season next year for UNC.

$5 mil seems like a lot to pay for a third string QB. I seriously doubt our depth is so lacking we're willing to go that high for someone to mop up after the games are over.

This writer is full of carp. Clemson’s lack of activity in the portal has been widely publicized. To think we would be actively tampering with a transfer prospect and offering that type of money is ridiculous. Dabo’s comments regarding tampering also make this difficult to believe. This writer must write a lot more than he reads or listens.
