because of what happened 8 year ago. That was then, this is now. I think the world of CDS. He’s the best football coach Clemson has ever had. But now it seems he’s lost all control. And I get it. I don’t like what NIL & the portal have done to college football. But I accept it. There’s no alternative. Dabo has not. Because of that, the Program has suffered. I’m willing to give him another season or two. Bust drastic changes have to be made and I’m not too sure Dabo can adapt.

FWIW, TX A&M would physically embarrass us on both sides of the ball if we played this year. Instead of a 46-45 loss, it would be 46-0.

You’re the one who brought last season into your timeline. My point is a one or two year comparison isn’t much to go on. No argument on this year’s debacle but Elko has a long way to go and a lot to prove before we crown him as the better coach.
I’d love to see what we might do if we had his resources and a different philosophy or culture. Hoping Dabo can throw that switch but I too have my doubts.

Who has TAM beaten this year to get this lofty ranking of theirs? NOBODY! The best team they've beaten is Notre Dame and they squeaked by them. Give me a break on the Elko pumpin'! ND & TAM are above average at best. Let me know when TAM beats somebody, and it looks like they won't be tested until the SEC Championship game. As average as Texas is, it wouldn't surprise me if they throttle TAM.
