What exactly was the gameplan? It certainly was not the same as our other 11 ball games.

Thats what I don't understand. I still think we are the better team, but Dabo and this staff let SOS get the best of them. We had the tools to beat them but refused to use them.

I think they were too tight. and over thought themselves on offense. The play calling was not the same. But we also had dropped passes. Sammy was non-existent. Not sure why we were running the wildcat so much. And do not understand why we abandoned the run so quickly.
I almost believe Dabo and Co allowed Spurrier in their heads with his "talk" this season.

Not sure what our plan was for that game... Whatever it was, didn't work.

Except 1 play - deep ball to Nuke. Then they said "Hold on guys! We're scoring too fast!"

Actually, i think our gameplan was to do exactly what we

have done for our other 11 ball games. Difference was we went up against a defense that was able to stop it. Boyd rarely had a 3-second pocket to pass from the entire game. And they did good covering our receivers. On offense they played very disciplined ball. I was actually most surprised by that, but it was obviously their plan. It was a very un-Spurrier-like offense we played, and it worked. They resisted the obvious temptation to kill us on the deep ball. Other teams have fallen for that trap and they had success, but that gave us the ball back much faster. Instead they killed us slowly on small yardage plays for the most part. They milked the clock doing that, limiting our offensive opportunities. And our offense choked because they felt the pressure to score every time.
We should have run the ball more on offense, but Chad does not think that way. He gets impatient, and when that happens, he looks for the deep ball. Only problem was Boyd never had the time to throw the deep ball.
