One of their fans sagely pointed out that it's because 8 other ACC teams have to play Clemson.

They need to figure out The Citadel and App St. 1st before moving up to Wake and Louisville, etc.

I couldn't see UofSC beating more than 2 ACC teams on our schedule. At Syracuse and Wake at home.

Wake returns almost the entire O and D (9/10) starters .
They would beat the Coots too .

I think they are 0-6 IF you count us, otherwise I think they are 2-2 since 2015 with wins over UNC (2015) and NC State (2017) if you exclude us.
Their last win vs an ACC team was 2017 vs NC State ... even then, it was a game where NC State ran rough-shod over them, doubled them up in yards gained, nearly tripled them up in first downs but you know NC State will turn an any excitement into defeat and somehow SC (turnovers, bad special teams) snuck out with a win.
L to Virginia in 2019, L to UNC 2018. So in their last 8 games, they are what, 2-6 or 1-7 vs the ACC? That sounds like their norm back in the 50s and 60s

It's funny how people crow about playing an easy schedule, blah, blah, blah.
Being ranked one of the top 3 teams all the time, playing teams ranked below you is a direct byproduct of being one of the best. Why? because there is nobody better than you!!
Further, I think it's hilarious anyone complains about a schedule. When your team is so bad, you try to take attention away from your team by criticizing someone else's schedule. Even when you know you wouldn't win against many of the same opponents, and will knowingly get called on it; it's still better than the alternative: admit the truth that your team sucks.
