Should we consider replacing usc jr with teams who can boost our SOS moving forward?

I'm just not realistically seeing them with a better finish than 8-4 the next 5 years.
Maybe we should look at Arkansas?
SOS is an important factor in the playoff committee's decision-making process.
Thoughts?

only time the legislature stepped in was Oct. 23, 1952, because the General Assembly intervened to require that they play.
That year, Clemson ignored a ban on going to a bowl game by its then-conference — the Southern Conference — and played the University of Miami in the Orange Bowl. The penalty? Clemson was barred from playing any other Southern Conference opponent, including USC.
State Rep. Nathan Ballentine, R-Lexington tried to get a bill passed in 2012, but it fell on deaf ears.

SOS doesn't mean a thing if you don't beat FSU, or UGA,or Ga.Tech. Three loss seasons won't get you in,no matter whom you play.

The overwhelming majority of Clemson and Carolina fans

would rail against any action to halt the series, as it's part of both school's history and is eagerly awaited each year.
I'd be one of those, as would, perhaps, most of my fellow TNetters.

Have we started talking about basketball? Carolina is in Chapel Hill and kills us every year on the hardcourt.
