What a rip-off for those many left behind and one would think a CFP game would be more inviting to the opponent but not..
And know it has to do with Texas the host and not any CFP rule.

Costs to send entire band to Austin is between $100,000-200,000.

It needs to be paid. This may well be Clemson’s bowl game. The one thing that needs to be changed next year for the four play in games is the number of tickets allotted to the visiting team. Of the eight teams playing this weekend, four will be done and will not have the traditional experience. That goes for the team, band, and fans. Let the higher ranked team have their home field but, treat it like a bowl game.

Tennessee is only getting a 3,500 ticket allotment at Ohio State. Unbelievable! We're hearing 40,000 UT fans have bought tickets. Some have had to masquerade as an Ohio State fan as the Buckeyes don't want to sell to Tennessee fans.

It’s good that the vols are excited. I remember when Clemson went to its first college football playoff many years ago when some of my kids hadn’t been born yet. Welcome to the party TN!

Not surprised. I believe we only took a pep band to Texas A&M a few years back. I think UGA only took a pep band to Austin this year too. Besides isn't it Holiday break for the students next week. Makes no sense to take the full band,dancers etc.

Well both the years we won our titles we beat Alabama. And both those same years you lost to them by 5 touchdowns. So I don’t think playing in the ACC would’ve made a difference for you.
