SEC homers on the radio. Wow

Was my thought.
These guys were discussing how the SEC could get 3 into the playoffs. If Ole Miss and Miss St ends the season at one loss and Georgia runs the table, those three should make the playoffs.
They're hoping Oregon loses another as well as Notre Dame and Michigan State.
They went on to agree that although the SEC will probably deserve 3 teams in, that the committee wouldn't allow it because the nation would turn sour on college ball.(so, they're making excuses for not getting in at least 3 teams)

Gruntstains. Anyone who hugs on the nutz of a conference affilliation is probably weak , and most certainly dependent on others for their own sense of self worth. Idgits the lot of em'

The SEC championship game will be like last year's (and probably this year's) ACC championship game.
SEC West division winner will be the only SEC team in.

I think I will speak for the "rest of the nation" when I say we are tired of the SEC already. In fact, probably every person in every state not in the deep south probably gags every time they hear the term "SEC." Meanwhile, they rack up athletic wins while being one of the worst collection of academic schools in this nation (my apologies to Vandy...and to some extent, UGA and UFLa.)

Ken Ard, our former lt governor has a sports talk show here in the Florence area. I like the guy but he is a SC homer for sure.
I do like that he doesn't seem to take every chance to bash Clemson like many Sc homers.

across the nation would sit still for any conference having two or more teams in the final four, especially the SEC...and I'm no SEC basher.

I'm hoping there becomes a two loss log jam for the SEC where only one SEC team gets in. One possibility is:
Miss St. beats Alabama Alabama beats Auburn Auburn beats Ole Miss Miss St. beats Ole Miss
SEC Championship Miss St. beats Georgia
Alabama, Auburn, Ole Miss and Georgia all have 2 losses with Miss St. being undefeated. Should a two loss who did not win their conference get in over a 1 loss or undefeated conference champion? I'd hope not.

Yea but it doesn't matter if an sec team loses once or even twice because their schedule is just so "difficult" and they only drop 4 places in the polls. It sucks!

Right for college football and two or three teams from the same conference isn't good for college football.
The regular season is a playoff and winning your conference is the most important criteria.
ESPN has no one on the committee and if you think the Big 10 and Big 12 representatives are going to stand for two or three SEC teams while they stay home that's not happening.
The SEC knows that a four team playoff with four teams from every conference will end their dominance.
