Lost by 7 to a good team first game of the year. Let’s remember we got blown out by Georgia game 1 and still made the playoffs last year.
Defense will get better as season progresses. Offense… not sure how much higher the ceiling is. I think Riley and Cade are who they are… Will it be enough?

Woodaz doesn’t suck, he was obviously in position more times than not, just missed wrapping up. If he wraps up tonight everyone would be talking about how great he was, I saw a great 4 plays that he should have made but whiffed the tackle, other than that he did well.

We were not a top 12 seed and wouldn’t have made the playoffs if not for the auto bid.
We will likely need the auto bid again this year to make the playoffs.

Which we should get. We played like crap on O and still had a chance to tie it at the end. I'm really not that down about it. I expected more from the O but they were just off tonight. We lost a 1st round draft pick on the first drive. If Williams is healthy I think we could have won.

We can improve, but we were really outplayed and I don’t think there was any question LSU was the better team. Hoping they are really good and we just lost to a really good opponent.

I've given Riley a lot of slack but I think I'm just about over him. Multiple times tonight, Cade was under pressure and had no one to throw to because all the WRs were way downfield. Just not smart playcalling for the circumstances, I don't think he knows how to adjust in game. OL play is still bad, not sure if it's coaching or personnel but something needs to improve.

It’s not coaches, we just have never had the best o-line personnel, we don’t get them drafted often and don’t pay up like other schools. Clemson never has nor will ever have a great offensive line. Just got to hope the skill players make up for the lack of one.

Well, we got mighty Troy coming in next week. Only games of concern are the coots and (I guess) the noles. Some teams might have the scheme, but not the personnel to beat us.
I guess we’ll see, but I hope they’re working the backup QBs some, because CK can’t handle a legit defense

Yep. There’s plenty of games left to be played and reaching the ACC championship and the playoffs are still real possibilities. If the defense settles in and the offense improves you never know what can happen.

Defense was great. That's the best O we will play all season. Our offense has to get it together.

Yea. They have a running qb and that's about it. LsU is much better on O imo.
