Nah, nothing even close to that awful.
Worst case scenario would be something in the 5-7 to 7-5 season. Likely case would be 8-4; the ACC has quite a few bad teams.

Assuming full retention of next year’s likely starters (with DL and WR positions having co-starters across the board), then we’ll have more talent than the large majority of ACC teams.

Yep, all that talent isn’t helping much. I’m guessing less talent might yield some 2015 “us against the world “ vibes and we’ll play better.
I can almost all but certainly guarantee that we’ll be more active in the portal before next year.

I'm not sure you're wrong, but when your team is this soft you're not going to win any championships.
We'd be 1-2 right now even if our entire roster was nothing but 5*'s.

Will we really lose that much talent? Brown, Moore, Wesco can all come back. If there is a transfer it’s looking like it might be Moore at this point. He has been a ghost on offense. Brown and Wesco is getting the majority of the throws. That’s a good 1-2. Hopefully we can find a decent qb. Our best defensive players so far this year will all be back.
