Forget how you feel about Saban and Alabama for a minute and credit Jalen Hurts for what he just did. To stick around after getting benched in the national championship last year and after Tua became the starter, this has been some great redemption for him.
Remember, he's still just a young kid even if he plays for Alabama.

Was a starter then got benched for a better player. Gets his chance to shine in a Conference Championship game and brings his team back from 7 down with 5 mins left to win a game. Sure he is feeling pretty good about it.

Even if you don't like Saban, there's no doubt that he hated it for Jalen having to bench him for Tua after how many games he had won. I've never seen Saban so emotional as he was describing how proud he is of Jalen Hurts right now.

their game. I'm so happy for that kid. Continued to put in the work to allow success like that, didn't pout in the public eye at least and didn't quit, take his ball and go home. He DESERVED that and I hope he gets the props from everyone he deserves.
