Injuries killed his explosiveness he thrived on. But even at the NFL level he could pop off and have himself a randomly amazing game.

Plug and Play is right. I remember he came in with Mike Bellamy - all the noise was on Bellamy and then "oh, this Sammy guy is supposed to be really good too". And almost instantly, we realized Sammy was the real deal and Bellamy faded away.
Fun fact, Bellamy is now sharing backup running back duties for the Tennessee Community College and Truck Driver's Academy. A real leader in the locker room.

Those are the kind of WR’s we are missing. He was greatness and an enjoyment to watch. Just like CJ running that ball kicking into OD. Both such amazing athletes to ever wear a Tiger Uniform and play in DV.

Every time I hear Sammy's name, the first thing I think of is his kick return TD in the Maryland game just after Maryland had scored. The Maryland fans were simply stunned.
