Sammy says in post-game interview:

Oct 20, 2013, 11:20 AM

"We missed a lot of reads and didn’t have a good rhythm."

When will we stop this kind of playing? It could be said too many times in less than key games, so how can it be a surprise when it happens in key games?

The difference between competing and getting hammered isn't very much when you are playing ranked teams. The team will never succeed in Dabo's goal of shedding this image he wants to shed UNTIL that is reduced or eliminated.

Nothing wrong with a 12-1 season, but you can't keep telling us about the same problems over and over again and expect to get there.

Your right if Dabo comes out and says we could not find our rhythm again I will tell him to shut up to his face!
That excuse left the depot long ago!

Its an inherent problem with the spread offense. I hate the spread.

Bottom line, we got out coached by a bad coached team!

A gimmicky offense that has to be timed perfectly fails quite regularly.

But many teams with less talent execute it well

I'm not so sure we have the O line for other more in your face approaches.

They are easy to get. We need to start getting JUCO linemen like most of the true elite teams in the nation do. If Clemson will not admit JUCO linemen as elegible players, that simply is proof the administration is not committed to winning.

Rhythm comes when plays are successfully executed, not vice versa.

Starting to wonder if Tahj...

is a rhythm qb. Not so sure it is the system as much as the player.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

What plagues us is not just QB though it may be that way

Oct 20, 2013, 2:14 PM

for some. But Boyd seems to let things affect his rhythm irreversibly now. Some fumbles by others and dropped passes here and there seem to get to him more. But he also creates his own "rhythm" problem for the players too. But that's football. You may have a series of good plays followed by a botched one here and there. Good offenses can shrug off the tempo change and pick it back up. We've done it. Just seem to be stuck in a place where we don't lately.
