Man what happened here? Not in his top 4 and committing on 4/25. It seemed it was only a matter of time until this guy was on board a couple of months ago. I know some on here have said Clemson backed off and some have said Sam backed off....anyone have any REAL knowledge of the situation? I know there are some higher rated guys that the staff is on but i thought Sam might be the 3rd take on the OL.

Looking back at past comments he had made, it sounds like there was some sort of miscommunication and he called the coaches out on it. I imagine that didn't go over very well and may have been construed as a "high maintenance" individual so we may have re-evaluated him as a main target. It seems like not included us in his top schools is letting everyone know he wasn't happy with us. Just my guess.

I think the plan is to take three. Feels like we are slipping with Freeling but Sewell is taking a June 3-5 official so fingers crossed. Only issue is that Sewell and Absher are most likely interior.

Why is Absher most likely an interior OL? Don't see too many 6'7 interior OL.

That is the position the rating sites have him at. Maybe a foot quickness or inability to get low to defend against quick bending ends. Not really sure.
