Rules Of Respect During An Entrance ---

One of the things that irks me to this day.....no matter what team is playing. When the visiting team enters the field at the exact same time as the home team enters the field or makes their on-field entrance.
Like if the cannon just booms off....and the Tigers just starts to run down The Hill....the visiting comes right out too. I hate that. All teams need to have some respect and etiquette at those moments. If the visiting team wants to come out onto the field......then do it before or after the home team makes their entrance. All that doing it at the same time as if everyone is just together.......NO..... we're not together. Like I said.....it don't matter who is playing....it just ruins the part of the whole build up of a game for me when visiting teams do that.....I guess.
Anybody else feel the same way or have any peeves that get under y'all's skin during pregame festivities of any football games.

One thing I hate is not seeing any balloons when our boys run down the hill.

I expect some LSU players to come meet our guys at the bottom of The Hill. We'll see.

Our team runs down the hill and the visiting team comes in the West End Zone so there is no reason to see them. What I hated was when a visiting team like FSU came in first and taunted our guys at the top of the hill and while they were coming in. I think it was Tommy Bowden's first FSU game when the players had to be separated before even getting on the field.

Since every game is on TV, maybe, just maybe it's the Broadcast choreographer who is telling the visiting team when to come on the field. I don't think the team makes that decision all by themselves. Remember the game carrier is all about ratings and maybe trying to add a little drama and stir things up. Jus sayin...

The bad blood between the state rivals began to boil before kickoff when Gamecocks tailback Demetris Summers and several other players drew the Tigers' ire by waiting for Clemson as it made its traditional run down the Death Valley Hill in the east end zone at Memorial Stadium. A lot of pushing and posturing ensued a precursor of what was to come.

Well its our stadium so we should be calling the shots and controlling it. We should have a director or some stadium personnel at the visitors tunnel telling them when they can enter the field. It's that simple.
I really wonder about the people that run our game day operations sometimes. They don't seem too smart and don't anticipate things. Like the shenanigans that happened with coot fans last two times on our field after the game that should have never happened. That still irks me to this day our crackpot crew couldn't handle that and usher them off the field.

I agree, but it's not limited just to entrances. And it's not limited just to opposing teams. The level of self respect we have in this world has diminished as is observed by the lack of respect we show others. It's still a game and some training and such is a part of it, but we are easy past good natured taunting and if be happy to see a return.

Were I in charge of any visiting team at Clemson I would strive to enter at the exact time as the Clemson team.
Why? Because my team need not be subjected to boos. That’s right Tiger Fans, we boo the opponent … we engage in junior high school behavior … shame on us.
