- - - why didn’t Dabo stick with Willie Korn instead of dumping him for Kyle Parker.

We’d have won at least two more National Championships if Dabo weren’t so awful.

And don’t give me any lip about Korn’s arm being both naturally mediocre and permanently weakened by being hit (I think it was against GA Tech). Korn had heart, which is what Dabo lacked then and now.

tugalooriver® So back in the early 1950's, Coach Howard and Notre Dame's Leahy agreed that Unitas at 6'1" 145 lbs was a bit too frail to take the shots at QB for their schools. Off the record, based on deeper sources, it was insinuated that Pittsburgh's HC was originally interested in Unitas, but he was scared off by his team waterboy Frank Costanza who was heard to comment on John Constantine Unitas -- "it's the eyes, his crazy shifty eyes." Unitas went on to play for Louisville where he shined.
