Riley didn't force Clemson to hire him so how is he the problem? If a company is failing because the employees that they hire are incompetent then is it not the people doing the hiring?

Weird take. Every offensive coordinator is hired to produce and excel. He hasn't.

But just like at any respectable company, if I was hired and not doing my job but I’m still here why am I still here? Companies will can you for better employees. Same thing he was trying to say here, that if the OC isn’t improving but they’re still here, it’s the people that hired him that’s to blame.

By all accounts, meaning multiple sources that do it for a living, stated Cade was a 5* talent.
Wesco was a 5* talent.
TJ was a 5* talent.
T. Leigh was a 5* talent.
I think they “hired” the right employees. They just don’t actually develop them quite enough to the standard established. 0-4 in that last four SEC match ups is just a fact.
Giving away scholarships to Dabo’s pets doesn’t help.
There’s a give and take to winning two National Championships in the last 10 years. It builds expectations and Dabo just isn’t cutthroat enough to keep existing. Which is fine, but you’re never winning these type of games ever again.

First we blamed Elliott...we clamored that Jeff Scott was the offensive mastermind. Then we blamed Streeter, said his system was flawed and DJU wasnt the answer. Now were complaining about Riley in year 3. When are we gonna face the facts? Go back and look at DJU from 4 years ago, Cade from last year, review tonights game film. The offense is the exact same. The coordinators may be different but the offense is handicapped to running the same plays and mindset for the last decade. The offense is stale and unchanged. That lies at the feet of Dabo...not his coordinators.

Dabo is the problem*
No matter who the coordinator is the offense runs the same crap. Common denominator here isn't the coordinator. Were flirting with becoming Virginia Tech. A slowly deteriorating program led by a legendary coach who has let modern football pass him by.

Because Dabo is soft hearted. Tonight really lies on Dabo but Mr Riley I’m sorry he is too easy to predict! Yeah we may blow thru the ACC but 10-2 10-3 seems to be the case unless Dabo realizes what we all see

Agreed! We have averaged 219 passing yards against Top 10 ranked teams with Garrett Riley as offensive coordinator: 283 (FSU), 124 (UGA), 336 (Texas), 132 (LSU)

To me I keep going back to Dabo saying we run the Clemson offense when Garrett was hired. I watch games all day and a lot of the offenses just have better plays than we do and make it look a lot easier when passing the ball to receivers with no one within 5 yards of them.
The Chad/Tony/Jeff/ Streeter/Riley offense needs an overhaul.
