More of our players are coming in ready to play. Many are ready out of the box. We'll still have players that need time to grow, but we can expect much more of the 3 years and out.
If the players can graduate in 3, like Deshaun, and go pro, how attractive does that become to top notch talent?
I don't want Clemson to be the Kentucky of football, but I like the notion that grown ars men are choosing Clemson and the red shirt factor is growing less necessary for many of our recruits.
Comes with the territory of being a Top 10 class every year. From reading the Redshirt reports from our young guys it sounds like the ability to get up to speed physically is huge for them. Wonder though with so much talent coming behind them if our newbies will almost feel like they will be replaced if they dont get out there immediately.
Im assuming the decision is 100% with the coaches.
I'm in the minority and I understand the reasoning and rationale of the majority but I wish young men ( especially once we start paying them monthly stipends along wth the cost of attendance money) would be compelled to stay their entire 4 years UNLESS they graduate early. Just understanding that most of those that leave for the NFL won't make it and with a 4th year, they would be a graduate and will have most probably enhanced their future draft chances.
