How does landing Sewell change the fact that Spiller has failed to land a RB yet? Because that’s where the criticisms have come from this class.

Several months ago it was recruiting in general and the naysayers had the spotlight on offensive and defensive line.

I remember a lot of people being disappointed with the 22’ class. And the 23’ class started off slow. Maybe I’m just clouded by my own thoughts, but I always had high expectations for this class, as have most members on this board.

You've always given fair opinions on recruiting. The ones I'm referring to do so without substance and at times seems like they do it with glee.

The WR post was mostly directed at Ohio State eventually taking the WRU title away from us. And I was hopeful that we were going to land Noah Rogers, which obviously didn’t happen.
I like Noble Johnson and believe that he is underrated. I’ve said that on other posts about WR. I’ve also defended Grisham and his ability to develop our WRs. I just hope that we can sign one more big time WR in this class. I’ve been pushing for Ronan Hanafin, but he appears to be a ND lean.

was plenty of criticism of Thomas Austin and our apparent inability to recruit a top OL.
Our former struggles at OL just might be contributing to our lack of success getting RBs to sign.
We’ll see ...

Guys want to play early. Our RB room is ready good . Don’t give up on Spiller as some of you have. Some guys want it given to them and not work for it aka Bowmen. The star rankings and NIL money don’t mean anything if a guy has to earn playing time. The fat lady isn’t sing yet. Patients Grasshopper !

I don't see how RB is a major priority this year, we'll get one. But with 2 Soph and a Jr as the cor group. Next years class will be a primary concern for another Top RB.....we'll get one when we need one.

I'm shocked that we have the financial backing to sign a class like this one...........assuming it stays together.
kudos to the coaches and donors/companies for ponying up for Clemson Football.

If you think this is all about money, you've never understood why the program Dabo’s built is so special in the first place.

that someday we will be mature enough as a fanbase on TNET to get past posts like these and just be happy for the program and each other.
A girl only can hope.

Personally, we have some whiners and pumpers but at the end of the day, we have a very knowledgable, die-hard fan base. I like what I read most of the time and get a lot of solid information/opinions from posters here.
Why criticize each other? Call people out for being jerks but not for different opinions on different aspects of the program we all love.

I know, but heck we need a balance around here so I think pumpers play a role as we all do.
I am a classic "over-reacter" during games so pumpers can be a calming presence I know for me. I am going to have to work on that this season btw.

I get very loud during games. Being a student in the early 80s instilled that in me and I’ve been that way ever since. Have taught my kids if you can talk on Tuesday you didn’t try hard enough. But it’s all pawsitive. The only booing you hear from me is for the refs or if there is a really really bad flagrant attempt to injure by the other team. If I ever get to the point where I’m considering booing the Tigers I’ll find something else to do.

If we don't make a change at qb early in the season we will lose 3 or more games again.
