Keep that foot healthy and let's keep rolling with this D. I'm really looking forward to seeing XT full steam ahead at 100%.

Our head coach having to convince a senior, who is supposed to be playing to prove his worth to NFL teams, to make the trip to Boston.
What in the world?

The kid is hurt and he’s scared of doing more damage and losing the entire season? Why is that hard to understand

Exactly right- anyone with a broken leg or foot has anxiety about

putting stress on it for a while. I went home from Walter Reed on crutches and used them for a considerable time even though the doctors said my bone was fully healed. And I wasn’t faced with chasing down QBs and having 300 pound guys knocking me around.

Yes, as far as the head line goes. Sounds like without any practice time, he just assumed he wouldn't be playing. Was only a "go" after warm ups.

You must of never had a broken bone. When I was in school playing soccer I broke a bone in my left foot and I am right footed. Took me 3 months to play competitive again and even then there was pain and discomfort. Give the young man a break. He is wanting to be 100% and playing for future NFL $. That is why we go to college isn't it? To prepare for your future?

Oh I don’t know, maybe he’s thinking back to the distant past of LAST YEAR and what happened with Justyn Ross and a broken foot that required another surgery and cost him draft status and half an NFL season at least.

It sounds weird, but XT just recently got cleared to play. After a season-ending injury last year and a broken foot in fall camp, I think it makes sense that he'd be gun shy... Plus, he has been in pain and is extremely sore. He wants to make sure it's the right time to play. I think he needed the nudge from Dabo.

I get why someone would think "What in the world?" but look at it this way: XT had a season-ending injury last year and after doing what he could to fully recover and get back, he broke his foot in fall camp. He JUST recently got clearance to play. He has still been in significant pain and it makes sense that he would need a push by his coach to go out there and play.. The weekly updates report that XT is still in pain. But he did great! 2 sacks in 4 plays. I'm glad he got the trophy!

XT did a heck've job last night broke foot or not. Love to see him play. Wish him the best and I'm sure he will be drafted fairly high next year. Go Tigers.

Was great to see #3 out on the field wreaking havoc again. Hope he keeps pacing up in reps and time. Winning the leather helmet on six snaps is wild.
Go Tigers! Go XT!
