Ray Ray thoughts

While I was pleased with what I saw on Sat., I cannot wait to see him in the open field. We didnt really get a chance to see him break it loose. He had that one run on the near sideline, but that was it.

He's going to be something special. I thought he moved like a veteran. He made that one mistake fielding the punt but that was about it. We are blessed to have him

I love him, having said that Spiller would have brought that one to the house. I can't wait to watch this youngster progress.
Go Tigers!

I thought the same thing. Spiller was a one of a kind player. I think all comparisons to him should go by the wayside. I may never see another of his style at Clemson in my lifetime and that's no knock on Clemson...just a testament to Spiller's uniqueness.

I'd say he has the potential to be about as close to him as anyone else.
I know Feaster is blistering at straight line speed, but does he have the shiftiness that Spiller had. Feaster looks like he has a tad bit more power back in him than Spiller.

what separates Ray Ray from the pack is that he is a baller, and is very physical for his size and would excel at Cb as well. Lots of guys his size with good hands and quickness, but this kid can also block, fight off a press, and win those contested jump balls. He will be a fun one to watch.

achieve all that much or get drafted. If he'd gone to Auburn where they develop talent, they'd have 3 championships in a row coming. It's a shame.

With all due respect to everyone, let's please stop with all the CJ and SW comparisons. Was CJ special as. Freshman? Absolutely. BUT at the same time there were more times when James Davis should have gotten the carry. JD was by far the overall better option that year. SW was special as well. No doubt. But with both Scott and Ray Ray they could be their own sort of talent. ITS been ONE, uno, 1 game so far. Let's keep our expectations tempered. We saw a few mistakes out of RRM, will probably see a few more. But dang, that upside though. And for the record thank you all for giving me a topic worth discussing. TIGER FOOTBALL! Now tee it up!

I said it earlier in one of my other post. But please understand I'm not saying RR is on this level or near it yet. He reminds me of Reggie Bush, his stature, quickness and ability to play running back(put some more weight on him)...if he can execute like n the system and break a few, his speed is explosive. Again, he is not what Bush was in college.

Ray Ray and Deon will become household names in the near future. Both possess athletic skills that are simply ridiculous - way above any true freshman talent - anywhere.
Once they totally buy-in to the Clemson system, they will be electric. Just think - they did not enroll early, and have taken a crash course in the offense. Their ceiling is limitless...
I look forward to watching these two young men grow within the system, allowing their natural God-given talents to shine all over the field.
In the mean time, I will sit back and watch Artavis Scott in complete amazement. Now that kid is a wicked weapon...

to have soo many options now. Artavis, Tye Dye, Ray-Ray, Deon,G-hop, CJ Davis, CJ Fuller, Gallman, Peake....geez...and the list goes on. And they all will just get better and better.
It's a great time to be a Clemson Tiger!

Just give RR enough time to get his feet wet...he will definitely be special. As you can recall SW didn't break out in 2011 until that 3rd game when the playbook opened up and Auburn didn't know what had hit em. Expect something similar from RR and DC. Not too much happening with the vanilla plays but a focus on execution.
