The pros: I have seen him sling it. Kid can spin the ball and when on is legit, has a great arm.
Cons: Talent was on display in the Big 12. Only really good defense was Baylor, OKSt was pretty good last season.
Also, Lincoln Riley is the Heisman QB guru. He made Baker, Kyle and even a RB playing QB (J Hurts) look like Steve Young. And He couldn't squeeze all the talent out of Casper the Ghost? Now gonna throw him into the SEC? While contrary to popular opinion, not every SEC team is the 85 Bears, it is a better defensive league than the Big12. I think Casper is going to get hit, a LOT and go down LOT. I see another transfer in his future if his team is smart.

Come on…
Rattler is a lot better than Bentley lol. He almost certainly isn’t good enough to elevate South Carolina to beat us, but he’s still the best QB they’ve had in a really long time.

High comedy on the board. Rattler threw for 28 TD's and 7 picks with 3031 yards and 67% completions in 2020 (his last full year of starting). Last year DJ had 9 TD's and 10 picks while completing 55.6% as a point of reference. Rattler as been awfully good at times and was beaten out by dual threat QB with a hot hand. As for conference difficulty, not sure the ACC (outside of Clemson) has had much of anything. Yeah, potentially the best USC QB in a long time. Way ahead of Bentley in arm strength. Hate to see him at USC but he doesn't have an O line nor many weapons. Probably end up getting hurt with all the punishment he will take.

I think rattler is really good. I also think the talent around him isn’t 1/4 what he had at ou. Can’t fathom why he hitched himself to the dirt peckers.

SEC, but he is Light Years better than Fivehead Flake Bentley ever was. Had Bentley's last name not matched one of the Assistant Coaches at CootU, I doubt anyone would ever have heard of him.
