Apparently it all went by total priority points, which I am not against. However, anyone who chose Club seating and paid more are #########, because you could have chose top deck and still got assigned to whatever seats you got based on priority points.
IPTAY explanation: You can request a level but all seats are assigned by priority points regardless of what you chose.
I only have a little over 360 points so got pushed in 101. And according to people here, they chose the lesser of expensive seats and were upgraded, I'm guessing based on their priority points.
Okay, so why wouldn't everyone just choose top deck and pay that price?
So in the end, you just chose to pay more for the Club seating tickets when you could have paid less if it all boiled down to points regardless of section chosen. That was some major deception. I think everyone interpreted it would be by priority points within the seating tier chosen. The pricing tier makes no sense if it is assigned by priority points regardless of the price you chose.
I'm happy for any loyal donor who got upgraded. But they charged a lot of people more money than they did others and had a lot of people purchase tickets in sections they never would have purchased if they realized the scheme.
If I'm wrong, tell me. Just based off what they are saying and people in other posts.
Rant over, the rest will be handled with IPTAY. Back to looking forward to he Football season, Go Tigers!

I wasn’t paying some of the ridiculous prices for this game. I chose upper deck and got put behind endzone ( not thrilled ) for $225 per ticket.

My Amex is locked, so I haven't paid.
They can fix it or if they screw with my benefits I'll escalate it as far as they want to go. This is so obviously fraudulent. Anyone who chose top deck at least came away with the cheapest price. Anyone who chose anything else over paid.

Just about anything to do with IPTAY is screwed up and is unbelievable. They know they have everyone over a barrel so there is no effort in the least to make things better. I was just trying to find where my seat to the UGA game was and it is not anywhere in my IPTAY account. I had to go back to an email I got a couple of days ago that said where my crappy seat was. I have no idea where to find the ticket on my phone when game time rolls around. They seem happy to allow Ticketmaster to scalp us and do all of their work while they just pull in the money. It would take me about a week to straighten that place out with probably half the staff looking for new jobs ....... especially the ones that run the website.

I'm not against allowing points, but why choose club seats when you could have selected Top Deck and got the same seats and saved $225 per ticket?

I hear all of you and your anguish. I experienced the same some years ago, I finally realized that the powers that be could care less about me. All they cared about was my dues and when I could no longer toe the line they dumped me like a hot potato.

Had a call the other day from upstate wondering why I dropped out. That was 3 years ago during Covid. Why 3 years later? Donations are down because of the crappy product we are getting. I told the guy not interested now why no call 3 years ago? I told the guy I liked my 50 grand that they don’t have and I do.

iptay donation 6 tickets travel to games and all the etc. It adds up Have lots more cash in the pocket now and still get to see every game and can turn it off and go to bed when you lose to Duke.

Yeah I hear you. And I didn't commit anything for this season yet, I was waiting for everything to be issued before I gave anymore, along with the parking passes. If this isn't resolved, I won't even donate the seat equity to retain my tickets.
I can buy third-party. I'd rather give an honest man an additional $2000 for tickets than a crook a dollar.

In 2016 I wrote IPTAY about their playoff game policy. We ordered Championship Tickets for Tampa, but if we weren't getting them we would have taken Semi Final Tickets for Atlanta. Turned out we got Tampa tickets and the semi was in Az. It's hard to plan when you don't know what tickets you are getting and don't know where a game will be. Fortunate to have also gotten tickets for Santa Clara in 2018!

They don’t charge you the Club Level pricing and then give you lower priced seats. These people you speak of that got “upgraded” - I guarantee you IPTAY charged them the value of the seats they got - that is to say - the customer didn’t pick $225 seats and IPTAY upgraded them to Club Seats ($450) but only charged them $225.
So what are you saying ? ?
My beef is - I wanted Club Level seats - if I wasn’t going to get Club Level seats, I didn’t want any seats. But now I am stuck.
I didn’t see anywhere that said, if we can’t get you the seats you ordered, you will be forced to take whatever we give you.
But that is what they did.

If you picked $450 seats and got downgraded, you did not pay $450. You paid that level of seating you were downgraded to.
For those that got "upgraded" from what they chose based on priority points to whatever seating...IPTAY cannot unilaterally charge you a higher price if you chose $225 seating or a lower seating tier.
They did get the seats for the price of whichever tier they chose according to both the people here and IPTAYs explanation on how seats were allocated. This is the complaint. There are multiple seating posts in the last week where people verify they got the better seating and paid the seating they selected.

You think they would lose money doing this. No they don't. Because as you mentioned in your complaint, they wave those seats in front of us like you have a chance and then they have thousands of fans who get shoved in the endzone and never would have purchased tickets if they knew they wouldn't get the Club seats. It's all part of the scheme. It's about filling the seats that will be on TV.
That's why people who chose top deck automatically gets moved to the endzones until they get full and are upset they chose top deck and was given the lower deck.
