Question for WCCP callers...

I made a comment in another thread yesterday about the WCCP caller. I am "intrigued" as to why the people feel the need to call into shows on a Daily basis? As mentioned, I get why you call in on a Monday or a Friday to discuss games but some of these callers call in literally every single day.
I just dont get that mindset?? So, if you are a WCCP callers please explain the rationale.

to do or they think their "insight" causes the common man to stand in awe of their intelligence.....harumphhhh.
Either that or they just like to hear their own voices.............lol.

AND THERE ARE SOME THAT CALL EVERY SHOW. AND NOT JUST CLEMSON FANS. OUR FLAGSHIP STATION IS EATEN UP WITH COOTS AND DOGS AND OTHER SEC CONFERENCE TEAMS.

There were a couple of every show callers I had that were just mentally challenged. Not enough to where they couldn't form a sentence, but to the point where it was a thing for them that got them through life
Then I had another set of every show callers that was retired/bored/nothing better to do
I usually try and call shows when I'm visiting another town to give insular hosts a different perspective than the echo chamber they live in

I've never in my lifetime called any radio show, sports or otherwise. I mean what makes what they have to say better than what we already know or think about what they're talking about!!!

I called in to the Finebaum Show about 7 or 8 years ago. Asked him his thoughts on Clemson in the SEC in the Future
He was actually pretty cordial, but when I mentioned it on here, I Was Totally "Bashed!" Never Called Again When he started picking at Dabo/ Clemson!

Usually the calls are distractions to get through before the hosts get back to their content.
Especially terrible callers like Seminole Ted who doesn’t care what the current discussion is about. Just calls in to raildroad the topic and talk about his stupid Seminoles or dolphins.

Yup.....the other day on Walts show "Jason from Columbia" called into Walt and said that he went back and watched the Georgia Tech game THREE times and then started to break down the film for us.
Who in their right mind EVER rewatches a game 3x?
