In full disclosure, Im a Tar Heel fan, I know, sad right? yes they stunk almost all year espcially against South Carolina.
So in the last several years, ive watched Clemson when UNC isnt playing, always admireing,
the Tigers and Swinney in particular, I want to ask a hard question but dont want to get kickcked kicked off the board? How critical can I be?

Short answer is no. I think it's getting a lot harder to recruit guys who KNOW they will be clipboard holders. Those 3 star guys who are talented but would rather get a good Education and a few plays in mop up, rather than be a starter at Coastal College of the Outer Banks. Before we had guys like Stoudt, Schuessler, and Chade Brice who did that really well. They came in,earned as a #3 guy and eventually became a solid backup. TP never really developed much as a passer, at least not to the level we needed, and then got hurt in the spring game. Yeah, he played some but I don't feel that Dabo was ever able to let him cut it loose, and then he got hurt as soon as he WAS making a case to be the starter. After that it was game over. The other backups? No.. nowhere near ready.

Nothing you can ask will offend anyone. It's all been said.

Some felt Pommachan should have gotten more reps. He wasn't great but at times it was hard to see how he could have been worse. DJ I think is the type quarterback you have to keep clean. Our online gave him little time and he isn't going to move the pocket and make pressure decisions. There were a number of problems. DJ doesn't shoulder it all.

I thought DJ was very average at best, couldnt believe Swinney wouldnt try somebody else, you guys had to have scholarship qb's on the roster, honesty I thought Swinney, screwed all the fans the very university itself, that so contradicts my observation of him, but his stubborness to play DJkilleed you guys

He would put Taisun in for a short amount of time and then put DJ back in. I don’t think we really had a chance to see what Taisun could do without leaving him in the game any longer than Dabo did. It was indeed frustrating. DJ just doesn’t fit our offense.

I think we can all agree that DJ just does not fit our offense and this one fact makes it a very big obstacle for him to overcome to succeed in our offense, sadly. I hope we never recruit by the stars they have rather than by how they fit our program, our offensive scheme, our defensive scheme.

Do you not think Dabo was well aware TP was going to throw many interceptions that our defense could not overcome? We would not be at 10-3 with TP.

You can't ask anything more offensive than some of our own fans ask. Shoot your shot.

we all have agreed, that the #5 problem, must be addressed for next season to be a success****
like said, DJ just does not fit the Clemson offensive system -- we need someone that can read the RPO's, defense, and scramble somewhat to extend plays -- maybe we have an option coming in from Texas ??
GO TIGERS !!!!

There are a lot of easily triggered people here and you should be careful and respectful not to hurt their feelings.
