I think I may try to move over from my 1.5er to join you since you all still have fun and are enjoying this season and are so optimistic. Could you help me build out the talking points I need to adopt to be a 98.5er?

Have the best coaching staff ever.

Best week of practice ever.

We only beat ourselves.

It's hard to win.

We are just a few plays from undefeated.

There's no quit in this team.

These guys love each other.

Perhaps the fastest team we've ever had.

What else?

It’s hard to fault them given Dabo’s success. I’ve just always been skeptical towards authority. Most humans fall in line as long as the results are there. They tend to turn the leader into a deistic figure that they believe should be free from any and all criticisms. That’s why the pumpers look so ridiculous now that the results aren’t the same.

But when you troll anyone who has anything to say critical of the team (or it's results) with personal attacks, you're not a 98.5%er, you're just an child-like idiot.

I was a 1.5 percenter BEFORE the game last night. I’m not a bandwagon fan so I won’t be disappearing ever. I’m a Clemson graduate and have been attending home/away/bowl games since I was a kid. I will always support Clemson but Dabo is delusional if he thinks that only 1.5 percent have issues and are vocal about what we’re seeing. I like Dabo and think he’s done an incredible job in the past up until a few years ago. He’s been exposed now since losing great coordinators like Venables and Scott.
I have a friend that lives in another part of the country but is a Clemson graduate and grew up in the area. She worked in the athletic dept while a student at Clemson and still knows people in the area since she grew up here. She doesn’t care for Dabo and told me last year that he has surrounded himself with “yes” men. At the time I thought yes that is probably true. I hadn’t really thought about it much before but that is so true. It’s not a good look and it’s not working.

It is none of those. It is we love the Tigers, win or lose, and understand that we will not win every game and the world does not end if we lose.
